Brenda Egan

 

Brenda has studied acupuncture with the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland & has her own practice Just Be Acupuncture in Dublin and has experience in working in a busy Galway clinic. She is joining AcuHeal to bring her special Facial rejuvenation treatments to the clinic. 

Brenda has also studied Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching with the Institute of Health Sciences, Dublin which complements her work as an acupuncturist.  

 

Brenda has a particular interest in Facial Rejuvenation & Women’s Health with a keen focus in fertility.

She completed her cosmetic acupuncture training with Dr. Mei Xing & also completed a facial cupping course with ‘The Facial Cupping Expert’ Sakina Di Pace. As well as this she was trained by an Irish Skin Expert & Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner.

Brenda is passionate about using TCM methods to support ageing naturally. With Facial Rejuvenation she focuses on the mind, body & skin to help maintain a beautiful youthful glow.

From a fertility perspective, she completed a Diploma in TCM Gynaecology & Obstetrics in Acupuncture with Dr. Trevor Wing, based in London. Brenda learnt how to integrate TCM & biomedicine safely & effectively.

Brenda has her own personal experience with fertility & IVF & has gained an in depth understanding & knowledge of fertility issues & IVF clinics. This has benefited her as a practitioner in this field & she is empathetic & passionate about supporting women & couples to improve fertility.

Brenda has also completed postgraduate TCM studies in the field of auricular acupuncture & the use of moxibustion. She has also continued to further her fertility studies by completing a course with Celine Leonard in Gynaecology & Infertility as well as the use of Chinese mushrooms in fertility & reproductive immunology.  

Brenda is a professional member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association which regulates members ensuring high standards of treatment & patient care. In 2024, she will be a member of the Acupuncture for Fertility & Pregnancy Ireland, a group of established & registered acupuncturists who provide treatments for fertility & pregnancy.
